Hard to halt desire when you've gorged your whole life. I've grabbed the grapes and drank the wine. What do I have left? Oh, crashing waves, wash this away. This endless need that circles me. There's no point in fighting when fighting means losing. I'm fighting every day. Tired of taking so many lovers in. I'll spit the world out and keep to myself. This is a sermon on discontentment. This is a lesson on disillusion and I'm preaching from a rotten pulpit. I'm not taking in anymore, so tell me why I keep singing these songs over and over again?
